CAR SALES

  1. 1.Can I buy a car while we are in lockdown?
    Answer: If you are a key worker and have id to back this up Yes, we will always look to help and get you back on the road.
    If you are a key worker or not and if you see a car and want to put a holding deposit on it so the car is secured for when we are back off lockdown again, we can offer this service. 
  2. I have a warranty issue with the car I brought off Hodson Ford?
    Answer: If you email sales@hodsonford.co.uk your issue is logged and time and date stamped and on our return we will be in touch to get you booked in and have the faults rectified as soon as possible
  3. If I have a fault and my warranty is to expire?
    Answer: Again as above email the fault details to sales@hodsonford.co.uk so the fault details are logged with us they are date and time stamped and we can be in touch on our return
  4. If I need to use my Ford Roadside assistance phone number what is it
    Answer: The number is 02035644444
  5. I Have a new car on order and are wondering what is happening?
    Answer: Ford are currently, like all car dealers, on lockdown and are following government advice
    We will be in touch with all customers with their car progress on our return.
    Currently all Ford Manufacturing plants are on shutdown and will be running around a month behind the original dates.

BODY SHOP

As of 24.03.2020. All Bodyshop staff were furloughed for an initial period of 3 weeks. The ongoing situation will then be reviewed considering government advice. All work providers were informed of the shutdown on this date. Any jobs that were booked in over this period were put on hold and customers notified to this effect. These jobs will be rebooked in the same date order as soon as we re-open. An attempt was made to contact all customers who currently have a car onsite already under repair. Messages left and insurance databases updated. Work on these cars will continue immediately when the Bodyshop can re-open. Rest assured all vehicles currently onsite are within a secure compound. We hope any inconvenience is kept to a minimum. However, the safety and wellbeing of our staff and customers takes precedence above all else at this time.

SERVICING/REPAIRS

If you have broken down and have the service activated roadside assistance call: 0203 564 4444*

All customers with Service Plans.  Your plans will remain in place and we will be contacting everybody that has outstanding service/MOT’s on their vehicle as soon as we reopen.

*If your service activated roadside assistance (SARA) was due to expire there will be:

  1. An extension of 4 weeks for contracts ending during the effective lock-down period. This takes effect from March 20th to April 20th
  2. This 4-week extension period will continue to be reviewed to ensure customers are supported
